Living countryboy simple in The days in the life

It’s been a good week, albeit a short one at work, being only two days long because of my having last Tuesday and Wednesday off. I got a bunch of help from a temp that they decided I needed to clean up the warehouse. It was trashed, everything everywhere. Fireplaces all over the place, venting in weird places. Returned fireplaces all over the aisles because the jobsite was not ready. Everything was basically done by Thursday, despite the fact that I had a truck of product come in. It was all in a day’s work and now I will make some more room in the warehouse next week, even though there will be another truck in the morning on Monday.

I went through and made a resume online for when I have to look for my second job. That’s already done, I printed out a copy. So it’s not only ready for the second job when I start to looking for it, but it’ll also be ready for the next job when I get to Missouri next year.

That sets me a little more at ease right there.

I decided something this morning when I was saying my morning prayers to The Lord, regarding my writing. I have enough written now in all of my scenes that I can go ahead and start writing the novel. So now, I am going to start writing it tomorrow. I have the first three chapters. I have them already situated in my mind. I am going to start a new file just for the story and write it as I go along. My problem is that I have an older laptop that I’ll need to hook up to a printer when I get a new one. I have actually forgotten how I used to back it up before. I have like I don’t know how many backups of my old writings.

I am going to get that laptop in October. Then I’ll be able to print out all the other writings that I have so far in the old laptop, and sync my mobile with the new laptop where I can use it as a modem and bypass the whole internet thing. I can also use the free wifi that’s available everywhere.

So that’s where I’m at in my thoughts right now.

As far as my house goes, I would be happy for now with a cabin as a farmhouse if it was attached to a decent amount of pastureland that I could cultivate to organic growing. That works for me. I just need a place to sleep while I have to do all the work that I know I’ll have to do.

My prayers and blessings I offer for the families whose sons were killed by those Isis terrorists. I know that The Lord never lets anything happen without his knowledge.

I also have come across one other thought just yesterday about the whole cowboy hat thing. I don’t need to wear one, because that’s not the way I go out and present myself anyway. I am a ballcap, levi jean, belt and buckle wearing cowboy. I don’t need all that other fancy stuff, that’s set up for the wannabe city slickers. That ain’t me baby. As far as the boots, I would just go with a pair of Harley Davidsons with the buckle on the side, nothing fancy just me.

Anyways,
them beans is a burnin’ and the cats got fleas, I’ll holla back later, ha ha....
cheers,
Cbj
