Colour me exhausted... in Another Open Diary refugee

Since I was out of action this week with asthma, things were pretty grotty around here. My breathing seems back to normal today, so I wanted to get the place cleaned up before the weekend. Today I washed the towels and hung them out in the sun to try to kill the algae that makes them smell funky when they get wet, I vacuumed the floors (had to do it in three segments), we went to the grocery store to get chicken on sale (I used the scooter but they didn’t have any of the ‘discount’ chicken so I didn’t buy anything), I washed the pots that don’t fit into the dishwasher, AND I mopped the bathroom floors… I was so exhausted that I had trouble making a simple dinner, but I got it onto our plates. I had to sit and rest an hour before I could feed the cats and get my shower! Feeling much better now, but I’m going to need an early night…
