I bought a Nutribullet and it’s better than juicing, than buying juice, than anything! It’s better than JambaJuice and bought smoothies! It’s so easy to make a morning delicious green smoothie and feel wonderful the rest of the day. I also downloaded this great app called, Argus, it tracks everything, from the number of steps I take to how long I run, even if it is unintentional. And to top it all off I recently read the newest copy of Spirituality and Health magazine and it is all about FEEDING YOUR SPIRIT!
I am fully aware that I am addicted to sugar.
Therefore I’m going to do my hardest in staying away from processed sugars. And if I want something it must be dairy-free or low-fat, or less than 100 calories. I hope that in this step I’ll be able to lessen my cravings and really get to eating more fruit instead of processed shit. Sugar is sugar. Our body processes it the same way, but I believe my association with cookies, chocolate, sweets, baked goods is more about my feelings and a stress relief is wrong. I need to be able to want to eat a cookie and not feel guilty about it afterwards, but also not foster feelings like “I deserve a treat because it’s just the end of the day” sorta deal. That’s not how it works.
One step first. More veggies. more fruit. Less red meat, more white meat. And less carbs. less gluten. Done! Let’s do this. I don’t need a NYE resolution to start anew with me and my bod. I just need support and a desire to do better by me, for me.
In other news. My skin looks better. I still feel a bit bloated, but not gassy. I also still fit into my size 10 jeans which makes me really happy. Novio and I bought a scale and that will arrive at work on Monday and with it a whole bundle of emotions, good and bad.
And in other other news I accidentally left our screen door open for an entire day and a SWARM OF FLIES were roaming around our apartment like they owned the place…none survived.
I love my job. Often it’s boring, but that’s okay. I also didn’t get the job with Digital Promise and I think that’s for the best for now.
I still really want a couch and there are a few odds and ends Novio and I still need to buy, but one pay check at a time my friend.
