Well for little kid books I loved Where the Wild Things Are, The Day Jimmy’s Boa Ate the Wash, the Terrible Horrible … Day, anything by Shel Silverstein, of course.
For chapter books I was into exciting series’- Nancy Drew, Boxcar Children, etc.
Early Middle level was all about fantasy- His Dark Materials, Madeleine l’Engle, The Giver, etc.
I was an early and voracious reader, along with both of my sisters. I used to read until I couldn’t keep my eyes open in middle and high school. Sometimes I still do!
