Friday we got our brand new 2015 Nissan Micra! It is so gorgeous! I just love the metallic blue/green color. It’s super small too so I enjoy zipping in and out of traffic without feeling like I’m going to hit anyone like I sometimes do in the huge van. I’ve driven it to work the past two nights and it’s pretty cool driving something new and different :) I still can’t believe we have a 2015! That’s just crazy. Guess I won’t need to get an E-test on my birthday for a while (I think you only have to start doing this when cars are around 8 years old....I was starting to worry about getting it done on my old car).

Yesterday I decided to become a consultant at Jamberry Nails :) I have a few friends that are selling the Jamberry nail wraps and I finally tried a few samples that I was given and I absolutely LOVE them. I have always loved wearing nail polish and feel so fancy when I wear it and when it looks good but I find it chips so quickly or it ends up lumpy or I screw up a certain finger because I didn’t leave it quite long enough to dry. So I put on these Jamberry nail wraps and not only do they look awesome because they come in so many cool designs but I have been doing all my regular diaper changing, cleaning the house, washing dishes and stuff and I put them on Friday and they’re STILL perfect. Apparently they last 2 weeks or more! There’s so many gorgeous designs I want to try. Their fall/winter catalogue just came out September 1st and there are the cutest designs including adorable ones for Halloween and Christmas. I will definitely be getting some of those and will be sure to post pictures to share the awesomeness. I am currently in the training process of being a consultant but soon I will have a facebook party and hopefully I can entice some people to buy these nails. When I signed up I had to buy a start up kit and for part of it I had to pick 3 nail designs I wanted included in that and I CANNOT wait until they show up so I can put them on :) :) :) The reason I signed up by the way is because I have a few friends that are having a LOT of success selling Jamberry nails. Like for instance, this one woman told me she makes around $1500-$2000 a month selling them and she only spends an hour or two in the evenings doing stuff to further her business. I’m not sure how long she’s been a consultant but not only do you get a percentage of your sales (commission) but you also try to build a team so you get other people to sign up through you and then you make a commission off their sales as well. So this friend of mine has signed up 12 people so far and she not only makes her own commission but she makes commission off these 12 people as well as commission off of the people THEY have signed up and the people those people signed up. It’s crazy! She barely even has to sell much herself anymore and the money just keeps rolling in. I really hope I’m able to recruit a team too. 12 people is awesome! I will be happy if I simply manage to make a couple of hundred extra dollars a month.

If anyone is interested in shopping the jamberry website for nails by the way do it through my website please: www.sarahgartley.jamberrynails.net The nail sheets are $17 and there’s enough on the sheets to do your nails 2-3 times. They are pretty easy to apply once you read the directions or watch a video on how to do it. You just have to use a hair dryer to get them to adhere to your nail properly and then they’re stuck really nicely.

The boys and I spent the weekend visiting my parents at the beach. We had a blast as usual although those two were little terrors in the car on the ride there and back. Omg! It was awful. Miles continues his pattern which he has been doing for months which includes wanting his soother and then throwing it over and over. I had 3 up front with me and once he threw the 3rd one and then instantly wanted it back he was just WAILING at the top of his lungs while I was on the highway. This makes ABSOLUTELY no sense to me. It’s madness I tell you! This child has absolutely no common sense. Clipping a soother to his shirt doesn’t help either as he’ll use all of his strength to rip it off. And then of course Cody dropped his soother and started wailing because he didn’t mean to drop it. And of course they always have to cry when I’m in an area where I can’t stop right away. Talk about a quick way to lose your mind. They did this both on the way there AND on the way back. Oh and sometimes Miles will start screeching loudly and Cody will be saying “no no no!!” or he’ll just burst into tears because Miles’ screeching hurts his ears. That’s fun too.

Besides the car madness we went to the beach and the boys dug in the sand for hours. Miles has only sat in sand one other time I think so he just sat there throwing handfuls of sand over and over like he was thinking OMG why is there an unlimited amount of this stuff? I’m going to be throwing it for DAYS! lol. We tried to get them to go in the water but Miles SCREAMED of course and Cody was like meh, big deal, let’s go back to digging. Other than that we spent the rest of the time in the house with the kids or on the back porch blowing bubbles, throwing the ball around and that sort of thing. Cody was really cute one of the mornings and ran upstairs and climbed into bed with my mom lol. My parents were excited to witness Miles holding onto things with one hand while standing now and every once in a while we’d see him let go for a few seconds. They love seeing the progress of his development since we don’t see them all the time. I’m sad that the longest I can go visit them is a couple of days now that I’m back to work. I used to go for like 4 days. Two goes by way too fast!
