So after our weekend in Niagara falls last weekend this weekend the excitement of the day involved buying a new dishwasher since ours broke. Thrills and chills let me tell you lol. There's nothing like shopping for something as boring as a dishwasher lol. I didn't really care what we got, I just wanted something decently priced that works well and hopefully isn't too loud. We looked around for a while and settled on a Samsung one which is white to match our fridge but stainless steel on the inside which we read is ideal. It also has a child lock, is relatively quiet and has 3 spinners inside which one guy told me is important. Sure. Sounds good lol. We get it in 10 days at which point Mike needs to figure out how to install it. God I hope it's easy because he's no handyman lol. The guy who came and told us our dishwasher was broken said it's not very difficult at all. So we'll see. As for now there's a sinkfull of dishes with Mike's name on them :) (I do them a lot during the week).

We were out for a while getting a dishwasher and ate with MIL. The only good thing about that is Miles will go to bed as soon as we get home and Cody shortly afterwards. I bought Cody a colourful turtle nightlight the other night at the mall and while he seems to like it he will go to bed fine at night but during the day at nap time he wants one of us to sit in his room while he falls asleep. So we've been doing that and sneaking out for now. Not sure what else to do. I'm just hoping he'll grow out of it or something.

I took Cody for a haircut today while Miles had his first nap. The place was jam packed and fairly quiet and Cody sat there whining very loudly in the fake cry sort of way. I held his hand and watched. The lady said as long as he didn't whip his head around the whining didn't bother her at all. She gave him a sheet of temporary tattoos as a reward which seems a bit young for his age to me but whatever, we'll save or trash them. Cody must have remembered getting a treat last time he got his hair cut though cuz we left and he ran into the store next to us and grabbed a chocolate bar lol. Great. I'm so glad I got it done. I was so sick of brushing his hair out of his face. The bad thing about having boys is their hair needs to be cut sooo often. Miles could even use a snip or two off his bangs but I will just do that myself eventually.
