I suck at writing… well the teachers have been striking in BC which sucks ass for me because although I’m not a teacher I work inside the school (managing the pre-school and the other school programs.) I worked through it a bit but unfortunately because my programs have to do with children actually attending (which they can’t because of the rental agreement with the school, the city owns the classroom but not that bathrooms and children cannot be in attendance to any programming if there are no facilities to use.) I ended up getting chopped, well more or less told that I can’t work because there’s no money coming in to pay me.
I worked for my dad for a few days, did some online work… nothing that will make up the near MONTH lost in being paid. Oi. I can’t even go on E.I because technically I haven’t been laid off and because we’re a “supporting sector” of the teachers. FACK!
With that my child contracted Norwalk which he shared with the entire household. I was able to lose 7lbs in the process of puking up everything but my internal organs. I was also the most useless pile of shit for the entire week because I couldn’t eat or really drink anything.
Dante’s home sick today, it was my choice to keep him home, he has a good hack going on at the moment and by the looks of things the strike might POSSIBLY resolve tomorrow leaving me being able to work again Monday. With that said I’ll have a lot on my plate, I’ll have to re-program my September and October to get everything fit in… between introductions to everything and then jumping right into October with Thanksgiving and Halloween, things are going to be rushed.
Right now I just need a paycheque.
