Journaling prompt:

What am I gestating? What waits to be born? How do I celebrate my beauty and sensuality? How do I care for my garden (literally or metaphorically)?

Your Gardener Spark:

Adorn yourself with a silken scarf, a piece of jewelry, or other item of clothing that makes you feel beautiful.

Anoint yourself with an essential oil that makes you feel sensual and alive. Kick off your shoes and walk barefoot on the earth.

Buy yourself a bouquet of roses or lavender, and inhale the scent deeply.

Because, you know — you’re worth it.

Having a baby definitely changes how you look at your body. And lucky for me, it was in a positive way. Now there are totally days where I desperately need a shower and I have no clean clothes and the house is a mess and the baby is....well, being a baby. But for the most part, I love what I see in the mirror. I've never felt so confident when I'm naked, or walking around in just my undies and a bra. I don't feel the need to suck in my stomach or walk a certain way so my thighs don't touch. Fuck it man, I'm a woman. I have curves. I'm a mother, I have soft edges. I am designed to cuddle and snuggle and comfort. I love the way my husband's fingers dig into my thighs when we're fooling around. Am I gonna be on the cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition? No, but I don't care. I'm sexy. :D

I love the combination of rosemary and lavender. It's so complex. Heavy but light, refreshing and soothing. So I'll do a little dab of both when I wanna connect to my inner goddess.
