The sun is out today and that's a bit different for Summer time in frisco. I suspect the gray fog will roll in sometime this afternoon, but for now I'll relish in the sunny rays of gold and clear blue skies.

I had a great interview with Digital Promise yesterday, but I'm pretty sure that if they do want to hire me it won't be until late September, early October. In which case if NestGSV picks me up I'll work for them until Digital Promise wants me, but if they don't then that's okay too!

All I know is that today is my third day at Christopher Elbow and I'm already over it. Retail serves no purpose for me and my life. There is no bigger picture. There is no satisfaction besides the little small talk that comes with talking to friendly strangers or co-workers. I don't dislike the work, but there is much more meaning to work and life that goes beyond selling chocolate and caramels.

But for now, this is what it is. The $11 an hour hustle. The dissatisfaction of a retail worker will continue.
