Knocked down again

Just another day

Nothing new, all the same

We all have a debt to pay

Your island you covet so well

Away from the world and all its sorrow

Waves gently nestle at its shores

But will it be that way tomorrow?

Dark clouds form over your entirety

Clutching your hope to where it matters

But what will you do?

How will you act, when it shatters.

You have to fight -

it's the only way to win.

Against all you know and love,

against love, hate, and sin.

Knocked down again.

But the sun is still shed

So get up -

you can rest when you're dead.
