alone time in Open Diary type posts

Sundance is on up in Oregon, and everyone is going, except me. Of course I was asked to go, but I felt like the land and animals need me, and so I'm staying home alone from tomorrow. One of the House daughters has moved back to the land, but she's 23 or so and her social life is down in town, and I don't expect to see very much of her. The animals and crops need attention every day. "My" fruits and veggies are looking real good, and the animals are always happy to see me ("Food!). I'll try to get into town a time or two this next week, besides I'm doing Traffic School online for that ticket I got in May, so I'll be writing out the path that led me here, from Portland to Concow, east of Paradise.
