I am giddily, delightfully, happy, happy, happy to awaken to a 4th day of blue skies and sunshine here in Our Town. Yes I am. It is hard to maintain my balance as I dance through the sunbeams. It is easy to forget (NOT!) the dull and dreary weather that has vexed all of Southeast Alaska for the last month.
I am so unused to this sunshine. I am unable to be out on the deck for more than an hour at a time. It's too intense, too warm, too non-windy.
Dishes piled in the dishpan under the sink and in the sink. Who cares about housekeeping? That can be done when there is no sunshine. Heck, I just thought of this---I can stack them in the barbecue outside and close the lid on that to get them out of sight.
I have run out of eating and stirring utensils and will have to go out and buy some plasticware. Or, I could wash what I have...
Never mind, I'm off to enjoy more sunshine.
Blessed be!
