A Little Bit More About My Universe in Another Chapter

I love dancing. I go out a lot. Lots of people see me out and about and take note. Last night was another one of those nights.

So I go to my bar, it's down in SoMa, and I take my dance floor in the back. I dance through 6-8 songs before I go wandering to the front room and find a bench to perch on. I sit down and take a sip of my beer, and then random guy in a trench coat sits next to me. It's a goth club, trench coats blend in. I glance over and then give him a nod when he looks back at me and I don't recognize his face. He sits for a few moments before he says, "so, did I see you at Death Guild on Monday?"

"Odds are good..."

"That was you at Death Guild on Monday, wasn't it?"

I nod back, "I go to Death Guild often, and I was there on Monday." Death Guild is the top self goth club of Northern California, and some would argue the world.

"Yeah I thought that was you," he nods to himself and then awkwardly takes a drink off his glass.

"Do you go to Death Guild often?"

"No," he scoffs and then glances up at me. "It was my first time going on Monday. Friend's birthday."

"Oh, I see. Do you go to other goth clubs often?"

Again he scoffs and then giggles to himself as he seems to realize how ridiculous this is going to sound, "No, actually... I'm not a go out much type of guy."

His whole pack of buddies took turns braving to dance with me on the dance floor after that. It was very amusing.

Now I'm waiting for Death Guild tomorrow to see if we have another run in. I think those odds are high. My Love will also be out with me tomorrow, and he always leaves lasting impressions.

This upcoming week is going to be awesome. Kick things off with Death Guild, and then Carries the Musical, my work party, and then Dia De Los Muertos. My black goth heart is all a patter, and I think I'm going to rip up a new shirt for tomorrow too, to go with my ghoul make-up.
