So, back in the day there was this little cartoon called "Teen Titans" and it was wonderful. It had action, romance and it's own style. It was based off the comic of the same name. Great show. Most likely one of the best cartoon show out there. Nowadays, we have "Teen Titans Go!" which is a totally different amazing show. It's the Teen Titans but this show is based off a different comic by the same name (will you look at that!). This show is a bit more on the Looney Tunes side of things. It has a different art style and the show itself is less based on the action and more on the characters. In this show, we get to know the Titans on a personal level. When they aren't out fighting crime.
So really, for me, this show is more about seeing them on their "off" time. It's like the "what do you guys do when you aren't fighting bad guys"? I think that was the point of the show but it seems that some people on the internet (oh no) have made it clear that the show "sucks".
They don't give any real reasons other than "it was made for 4 year olds". Granted, all of these comments are from the 14 to about 22 crowd. And I get it. When I was that age I didn't like the cute crap cause I wanted to be all full of angst and look cool. If you tell me that isn't the reason, you are a goddamn liar. I know so many people who swore off cute cartoons cause they wanted to be cool. It's the whole reason why boys get made fun for liking "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic". You aren't cool if you like cute shit.
We get it.
I wish someone would give me a concise reason as to why they dislike the show. Maybe then, it won't grind my gears so much.
