it's interesting and true. you really can't have it all. for the most part i have my life together. i have a good job. i have a good relationship with my family. i have some great friends.
however, i think it's getting to that point where relationships and dating are more so the future of what i'm looking at. i definitely believe that at any age, most of my friends have kids or are married. and i have no problem with dating people with kids, but it definitely does make things more complicated.
and when i reflect back on past relationships, i really enjoy always having someone to do something with. to watch tv with. or just sit around and be happy knowing you're both in the same room even if you're doing something completely different. it's less about specific actions and more about the feelings.
it's the same with other people i believe. and i know that there are people in a similar situation. but it does make it tough since i'm not really a "go getter" in the sense of really talking to women. i've never been good at the whole flirting thing. i tend to be very honest in that sense and wearing my heart on my sleeve.
so who knows...
