Good news in The days in the life

On Wednesday, I decided to get the car running or at least make an honest effort at it. The License re-instatement and the Insurance, they could be done the following Friday. I needed to do this at some point I reasoned to myself. I lifted up the hood last nite and assessed the situation. I need a new battery, I need to clean off the terminals, get some distilled water (I had a full jug of diluted radiator fluid, and I need to get an oil filter wrench. This was after I had been thinking about it for three days. My Neighbour drove by as I was right next to my house walking home after work. I told her that I was ready to start getting this stuff together, then and there she offered to give me a ride today to do it. I said ok, and thank The Lord for his love. We went out today, and I got everything that I talked about. I put the battery In the compartment, filled up the radiator and the overflow, and I was going to take the oil filter off and put the new one on. However, it is under some kind of cover that I'd remembered and I only had a scissor jack that came with the car. I didn't feel very safe crawling under there like that so, I put 3/4 of the jug in the crankcase, because next month that will be the first thing that I do, get the oil change after I get it registered. I put the terminals on the posts, and start the car..... It won't start, I tried it five times, it won't start. I went to get in and remembered it was still on the jack. I lowered it and when I went in I heard the ding of the door being open, I smiled. Tried it two more times, and then I thought oh right, the gas. I had a 2 gallon can filled. I put that in the tank, started the car and zoom zoom!. I drove it around the park, and I found out two things, I need air in the tyres and I need brakes. So, when I do the emissions on the 14th next month, I'll rent the uhaul and a trailer and take it to the emissions station where hopefully it will pass. Then I will air the tyres up and gas it up on the way back home. Depending on where I am with my finances, I may be able to get it done on the 15th, if not it will definitely be the week after the 22nd of August. The first thing I'll do after that is get the oil changed, and I'll ask my friend if he'll be willing to change my brakes for me. This has been such a long journey and the sun is about to shine through for me. Thank you Father, thank you Jesus thank you thank you thank you. 28 April 2015 is my last day here. Even if I have to wait one more year and rent an apt or another mobile home, I am moving to Missouri. I am going. There is no hesitation at all, I AM going. Cheers, Cbj
