Been stuck in the car with Mike and the kids for the last 3 hrs. Ugh. We are on the way to see my parents for the weekend but everyone else is headed up north too apparently because we keep ending up in stop and go traffic. We probably still have an hour to go! This drive usually takes 2 hours not 4. But at least I'm not driving lol. I just keep feeding Miles when he starts yelling for absolutely no reason. It's been working lol. I'm sure glad they napped for a whole 10 minutes :( Hope they're not terrors tonight.
I have "it's my birthday" shirts for the kids for their party tomorrow :) One of them someone gave me for free and the other one a friend sold me for $2. I can't wait to open their gifts lol. Or help anyways. I still don't even think Cody understands birthdays yet :/ Let's just hope we don't drive home with a bunch of junk on Sunday.
The town next to us has a new Costco that just opened today. My MIL lives there and got a card even though she lives alone. I told Mike she could buy one pack of toilet paper and it'd probably last her a year lol. I can't imagine what she'd buy in bulk. I'm hoping to buy kid snacks that they eat all the time as well as stuff Mike regularly eats while he's at work. I'm not sure if I want to check it out any time soon though. It'll be a madhouse for a while I think.
