We will be leaving this town soon, but we'll be back for a 4 or 5 day stretch in a couple of days. I'll catch up on the writing then, but a few things first.
Like most cats, I have landed on my feet, although the outcome looked dicey in the Spring. Had a operation for my birthday this year. We were Homeless for a couple of weeks. The future was uncertain and the end seemed near. But now.... I am living my dreams, and that's not a sarcastic comment, it's the truth. For example, I used to wish/dream I was someone's driver, driving a nice car. I've got a nice black 09 Dodge Caliber Sport, but I'm driving her car today, an 11 Volkswagon Jetta 2.5se. It's got GREAT passing power. I got a speeding ticket in it a few months ago. The CHP guy was cool about it and wrote me up for a traffic violation, but if he had clocked me as I was passing... well, no Traffic School for me. The GPS says we hit 93. I have cameras to use, but I've gotten a lot of use out of my Blackberry's camera, and I'll get it to "talk" to my computer and transfer all those pics. It looks like it's pretty easy to post them here, and I'll have days of internet access coming up. btw Traffic School is online! OMG! (gotta do that before September's out)
