Is it just me, or are these prompts like.. way too cereal? GAH! Lol! Before Answering them, here's a little about today. Nada. IT WAS FABULOUS. <3 Mother-in-Law let me nap, which is like, amazing! And Josh is taking a vacation day tomorrow- So I'm pretty excited! We're thinking of surprising the kids and nephew with a trip to the Zoo!

Gp ahead and judge me, but I fracking LOVE the zoo. Aminals! YEAH!

Day 3 - My Views on Drugs & Alcohol

From 18- 24 I was pretty much consumed by drugs and alcohol. Thankfully I didn't get into anything too.... addictive. Mary-Jane and I had a pretty monogamous love affair LoL But I was definitely an alcoholic. Had to have at least a bottle a day. Which I was hiding. From everyone. It was a dark, hard, scary place. But when the Hubster and I made the decision to live right, and I forced myself to quit. To stop hiding. To grow up.

It was and is still, one of the hardest things I have ever done. But it's also one of the things I am most proud of. I feel stronger. I feel braver. I feel utterly thankful.

As for my outlook, you would think I would be pretty anti. But I'm not.

Proverbs 23:20 Don't drink too much wine and get drunk; don't eat too much food and get fat.

I see nothing wrong in having a drink after dinner, or while watching the game. But just because you're having a drink, doesn't mean you have to get snocked every time.

As for my view on drugs: Man Made is a big fat no. I don't trust a tweaker not to kill me, pretty much simple as that LOL Weed, I don't see as harmful. "Every seed has it's purpose," as the Book says.

Disclaimer: I no longer drink or smoke. This is a personal choice, until I feel that I can control myself in a way that is right.

Day 4 - My Views on Religion

I'm a Christian! Not to be confused with Religious.

Christian as is One who strives to be Christ-Like. I.E. I try to not judge. ANYONE for ANYTHING. Period. (hard to do!) I try to Love people the way that Christ loves them. To see past the outside, to the soul who deserves happiness inside.

This means that even if I don't agree with your opinion, lifestyle, or for that matter your style of music/clothes, I'm not gunna say zippo! Another example: No problems with Homosexuals. I'm in fact friends with several, and love them! Does this mean that I approve of all of their lifestyle choices? Nope. But, I'm not God, so I refuse to judge them. Besides that, the Word says pretty clearly that in God's eyes ALL sin is equal, so I don't have a stone to throw.

[[Side Bar- I am still trying to learn the non-judgey thing, and def don't have it down pat. But oddly enough, people who I see as "Fake Christians"- overly religious jerks, lol- are the people who tend to get my goat.

There is a photo I'm sure you've seen floating around Facebook, of the Douche holding the sign that says, "God Hates Fags". That seriously burns me!

  • Number One, God hates NO ONE. Kind of the point.
  • Number Two, It seems these... people have forgotten the no judging bit.
  • Number Three, How can you show someone the Love of Christ, which just might be the thing that actually leads them to Christ, if you're showing them Hate?

This list could go on, but the Mum-in-Law started watching Kyle XY and it's sucking me in Lol

Terrible, I know! Procrastinators Unite!!
