It's hard not to believe in fate sometimes. Like today. I'm sitting here thinking what the heck are we going to get Cody for his birthday? He has so many toys they flood the family room and we have some from Christmas we haven't even opened yet. He also has enough clothes to last him for probably the next year, especially since I know my MIL and mom are getting him a bit more for his birthday. So anyways, I'm looking at facebook this morning and someone posts about a thing for kids called "A day out with Thomas the train" where you go and get to ride the train for 25 minutes and the kids actually get to see Thomas, play with lots of train sets, jump on bouncy castles and do other Thomas-related activities. Omg! Why did I not know about this? Cody LOVES Thomas! We got him a big train set for Christmas and he loves it as well as his one Thomas train. So yeah. We're going and this will be his present from us besides a few books I already got him. The town it is in is an hour away and we are going this Sunday. I can't wait to see his reaction. I'm even excited about it lol. If I were a kid I would much prefer a fun day out to a couple toys, especially when we know he's going to get toys from the family next weekend anyways. It's not cheap ($95 for the 3 of us, Miles is free) but I think it's going to be a great memory. I will be sure to take lots of pictures :)
