#1 in 2023

A standard day. Breakfast: 7:30. Work: 9am-6pm. Supper: 7pm. I watched half of a movie before turning the tv off due to the unlikeliness of the plot line.
I couldn’t engage after that. To be perfectly honest I didn’t really engage from the start. Now I’m in bed I regret not spending the hour doing some yin yoga instead. I also had a shower. But didn’t wash my hair. Some days it just feels like too much hard work.
Today I read about another school shooting in the US. Imagine that. Sending your kid to school one morning and they never come home. People say death is part of the natural circle of life - if so, why does it feel so unnatural?
Reading McCarthys ‘All the Pretty Horses’. Listening to: an article on the New Yorker app about the fashion house Balenciaga.
As I understand it, fashion seems a rather self-absorbed art form.
