Miles just started army crawling on Monday and he has been using up so much energy getting around that he is no longer waking up at 6:30am. It's 8am right now and he is still sleeping! Now if only I could get Cody to sleep longer lol. But 7:30 isn't too bad I guess.
I weighed Miles the other day and at 11 months he is about 21lbs which is pretty good. He was 20 last month and he eats a ton. I think Cody was around 23lbs at this age. Not sure how much he grew in length yet. He is absolutely loving being able to army crawl and get whatever he wants lol. It's adorable to watch too. He is much happier now too because he's so busy. I am still pumping and giving him 4 bottles a day. I looked up how much breast milk a baby his age should be drinking and I can barely get the minimum amount into him for some reason (he is drinking around 16-18oz a day) but I am trying not to worry about it because he eats well and has plenty of wet diapers and is happy so whatever.
My mom and I took the kids to the beach the other day and Cody loved playing in the sand and going in the water for a few minutes. Miles wasn't too sure about the sand. He didn't freak out though. I had to pull a couple rocks out of his mouth while he was playing near the sand. Man babies are sneaky when they put stuff in their mouths. I forgot about that.
Yesterday we took the kids berry picking. We picked raspberries. Cody loved the tractor ride out to the berry bushes and wanted to go on it again and again lol. We showed him how to pick berries and he figured it out but the only place that the berries were going was to the basket in his tummy lol. After he was full he was bored. Miles sat in the stroller watching us and drinking his bottle. I popped a berry in his mouth now and then and he was happy. Luckily the raspberry bushes were quite plentiful so we had picked a ton in about 30 minutes. So we went back to the store and had a frozen yogurt and bought a berry pie for dessert. After that we took the kids to the mall to look around for a while.
I'm not sure what we are up to today. I don't really want to go home and have to cook and clean and watch the kids alone again lol. Ah well, such is life I guess :) Gotta go! I will post recent pictures of the kids soon.
