“If I don’t get this Enya song out of my head, I may scream!” That was my thought yesterday when “Only Time” was playing on a loop — literally, just the two words “only time.” Repeating over and over like a CD was jammed. Younger readers are like CD, what? Older readers are like, you mean a record.
I finally said screw it and played the song. My thought was maybe it will conclude in my head. I feel like someone told me that or I read it somewhere. It didn’t work. What did happen is now I have the vocalizing little bit stuck in my head (right after the only time part). And to be honest, it is quite relaxing and I don’t mind it being there. Spa Like.
I took Wednesday off work when I was really just stuck in a bad mindset. Now today, I have to make up for it. Oh, the life of an independent contractor, no sick days. Pros and cons like any job. Good content to caption today - cannot get into what it is since we have an NDA, but I will be relaxed doing it.
Not excited about Daylight Savings Time. I mean, who is? OK, maybe people in the north of the country because of sunshine, yada, yada. But me? How do I tell my alarm clock (which is my cat) that the clocks are changing? Does this mean I get an extra hour of sleep or lose one? Finding myself dependent on my cell phone clock right now. Confusion! OK, really, I will just google it later.
The PLAYERS Championship is on today. Just LOVE, LOVE, LOVE some golf. It’s relaxing, competitive, and sometimes just impressive. This dude’s ball landed on a moving cart the other day! Like, now what? Following the tournaments are always something I enjoy. If you are into sports documentaries and have Netflix, check out “Full Swing.” So good, and gives a pretty cool behind-the-scenes look into some of the players. Tony Finau, class act.
