I heard from a former coworker that my old boss (the one I trained under) is coming back to my old store again. I'm not sure why, or for how long, but the crazy incompetent manager who was leading the store when I resigned is going back to her home town in South Carolina.

I would love to work for him again. I learned 4x more from him than I did in business school. And I really miss all the friendships I had at the store. I'm going to call him Monday, because I owe him an update on the job I turned down (he gave me a lot of great advice when I was in the middle of the interview process). There are several positions open at the store, including my old position. Apparently they've filled it once, but she's quit already or something. Anyway, I'm hoping he'll want me to come back to work with him. He and I have always worked well together, and we make a good team.

I don't know that I would want my old position back, though. It was brutal, I never got to see the kids, and once you divided out my take home pay, I was making under minimum wage per hour. I don't know. I guess I'll just wait and see what his input is.
