Happy to update again!
As mentioned in my last entry, me and my boyfriend have officially moved in together as of a month ago. Its been going very well, and we may even be getting a cat soon! The decorating is a little difficult, seeing as there are no overhead lights in any room, and budgeting is tight. However I’m already very content with what we’ve managed so far (especially with furniture).
I’ve reconnected with an old friend, which is also going well. They actually live really close to my new location. I hadn’t seen them in a good few years so it’s nice to revive old bonds, especially with my friend pool running thin lately.
I’ve even gotten a new job, one I’m very happy with. It offers a lot of room for growth, its locally owned, and I’m working towards my next promotion which comes with full-time hours and a MAJOR pay raise. I’ve already started training with it, actually. Its a difficult learning curve but I’m sure ill manage to get it down in due time.
There are troubles coming up though- mostly money-wise. I still need to get my license, after I get my windshield replaced. My car has tire issues that need to be addressed. The tags need to get renewed, and other misc. upcoming bills. I need to apply for new health insurance since my current will end on my birthday next week.
Speaking of birthdays, I’m going to be turning 20. I hope that the day goes well, but I’m not honestly expecting anything special or big, seeing as I’m working that day. I guess I’ll have to update again once its over, see how the day went.
Thank you yet again for reading, if you’ve made it this far. I know its fairly boring, nothing too special, but I appreciate it nonetheless. I use this site more to vent than anything. Its very therapeutic to anonymously talk about life.
