Pat and I went and looked at an apt this afternoon. First one we saw that we liked well enough to tour. The pics on Redfin looked nice but it was even better in person!! We were very pleasantly surprised.
Its about 10 minutes further from work and 45 minutes closer to church.
So we’re really excited.
NOT excited about the packing/moving/unpacking though. I detest all of that. But im excited for the new place.
Nervous for Kirsten though. She had to have a pre-op EKG done for her hernia surgery. They found out that she apparently had a mild heart attack at some point. So they’re having a cardiologist be present for the surgery to keep an eye on things. Shes only 35 for crying out loud!!
But we have a very vast genetic history of heart disease. She’s overweight. And shes a smoker. I hope to hell this is a wake up call for her. She NEEDS to lose weight and stop smoking. Shes scared as hell right now and I think she’ll maybe half heartedly attempt to quit smoking but after the scare wears off she’ll go back to it. I know my kid all too well.
