Summer Indeed in General

Well Mancub and family launched out of Maryland today. That officially cuts my last tie to a state I despise.

They are heading for Texas, taking three or four days. Other than when we came east from Washington State this will be his longest road trip. And when we came east he was mostly sleeping. Now he is in charge.

He promised to keep me informed. I'll hold my breath. I only told him to be safe and not push it while driving. I'm not big on giving advice that goes in one ear and out the other.

I now have to watch the weather in eastern Texas. Because I obsess over weather. Residual from flying days. Plus they will inevitably be running into that crap that is rolling east.

Uncharacteristically for me I ordered a pizza on a Monday. Because I'm lazy, and 24 is on soon.

I got my laundry done, my car washed. The yard mowed.

The weather in Maine has been so perfect you couldn't even believe it. Not too hot, not too cool. Not too humid, not too dry. Just perfect. If there is a heaven it better be like this, otherwise I will be perturbed.

Sheets changed, time to go get the pizza. Then watch 24.

Then climb into those butter soft million count Egyptian cotton sheets with the air conditioner cooling the bedroom down to the 60s.
