Abigail saw the Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon yesterday to re-check that fractured growth plate. She got herself a fancy new cast that she can swim in. She has to wear it for at least 3 more weeks, at which time the doctor hopes her wrist will be properly healed.
Austin had an appointment with his pediatrician yesterday. After some recent incidents or episodes or whatever you'd like to call them, I decided I should consult the doctor... and she decided he should be evaluated by a specialist. Austin hasn't been to a Pediatric Neurologist since he was diagnosed with Autism nearly 5 years ago, but he's going tomorrow. He has an MRI scheduled for next Thursday, too. Maybe we'll get some answers, and maybe we won't. Just keep us in your thoughts, because even if they don't find anything, it's not going to be a fun day!
