6 weeks today until I am back to work. I am trying to enjoy the time I have left and ignore the countdown in the back of my head but it's hard.
The boys' birthdays are coming up (July 23 and August 8) and we have soooo many toys and clothes that I honestly have no idea what to get either of them. Not a clue in the world. Help? Maybe I will get Cody more Thomas stuff and Miles something random that makes lots of noises? Hmmm. I don't know. And Mike usually has no idea what to get them either. I always try to think of something amazing but that's a hard thing to do time after time.
We are going to African Lion Safari today with my MIL. They have an area where you drive around and look at animals and some of them come really close to your car and then the main park which has a few animal shows, animals to look at, a short train and bus ride and a mini water park. I hope Cody enjoys it. It seems to take kids so long to actually get excited about seeing animals and going to a park. Every year so far he's just been ho hum about the whole thing. I am excited to get out and enjoy a fun day in the sun. Mike is picking up his mother right now while Miles has a long nap which is good because he's not going to get another nap until we leave. At least I was able to pack a ton of food for the kids because you're allowed to at this place. Oh- time to go! Bye :)
