Long conversation with my advisor at school. I dropped the PM concentration so only have one class to go. We also talked for a while about writing and database administration. There is a Masters in Writing I am eligible for. And some DBA courses. I told her my plan is to run my Post-9-11 GI bill out of money. Sorry taxpayers, but you owe me.
The Masters in Writing is all online, but something I could get excited about.
The news is on behind me. Strangely they seem to be using stock footage regarding the USS GHW Bush going into the Persian gulf - my last fleet squadron still flying EA-6Bs. They converted to EA-18Gs last year and aren't deployed. We're face book friends smirk.
Being Wednesday it is recycling day. You never know when to put out either the trash or the recycling, both picked up by the same company. Of course last night most people put their bins out and today there was this strange humid thirty mile an hour wind blowing recycling all over the place.
Tomorrow will definitely be a beach day. Up to the low 80s with an off shore breeze. I'll hit the walking trail at 7am, swing past Libby's for a lobster roll. Uh. And Wal*Mart for a small cooler to keep the lobster roll and a lemonade cool since I'll be at the gates around 9am when they open.
Audrey turns 50 on Friday. It makes me wistful that I can't say jokingly "welcome to the dark side."
