Bathroom... in Help Me Please

sort of got fixed but I am not totally happy with it because all the landlady did was put another board on top of the warped one that has either mold or rot on the sides. So I won’t be using it. And the thing that was all moldy that covered the pipes just above the toilet was all moldy and a clean piece of wood was replaced so that is good. And she thinks the hall way flor will fix it’s self at some point but I don’t think so. Evidently there is air bubble plastic or something under the wood and I think that is all rotten or moldy but don’t know till someone looks at it. The bathroom door still needs to be fixed and that piece of wall in the laundry room still needs to be replaced and the crack in the concrete she says isn’t a big deal but I can see it getting worse as time goes on.
And I was also told that we won’t be getting the damage deposit back which is fine because then I don’t have to clean anything. And that works for me. Mind you I wasn’t going to clean anyways.

Onto something else…

Today I have decided that the beds are finally going to get changed because they are kind of looking like someone has lived in them for more then a month and I will do some more laundry.
For dinner I am not sure what I want so I will ask hubby what he wants and go from there.

My son got a moving company and he said it’s really cheap like $190.00 for two hours and he is moving on October 5th which is a good day because then he will get a bit more money and that can pay for some of his move. And the place he is moving into will be perfect for him it’s just one big room but it’s bigger then what he has now. And I think he can even turn around and change his mind if he wants to so I think he will be okay at this place. And who knows maybe he will make some new friends but I highly doubt it. he is one of those who prefers to be alone. And the friends he does have all have something in common with him so I am not sure that he will actively be looking for any new friends. And it will take him longer to get to see me so we will have to figure something out. But he is going to come next week as it’s thanksgiving here in Canada and then after that is the winter holidays and he will be here for that to. I hope he can stay till the day after New years like he has done years before.

Onto something else....
yesterday was kind of a somber day because we had to go back into history and remember all those kids who never made it home from the residential school they went to.

I learned that some of our streets and parks and schools were named after people who were racists and now they are going to get changed to Native Indian names that actually mean something good.

The thing I don’t get is why these places were named after these people when someone knew what kind of person they were at the start. Didn’t the city know what they were doing?
I had always thought that whatever happened back in history was suppose to be something we learned from. But to delete it, how are we suppose to remember that part of history? And I also don’t know all that much about these people except that they were once a part of our government or did something that was really great. I don’t think I have ever been to these places where the names have been changed so it’s nothing I don’t have to remember who or what they were before.
