The Weekend Is Here... in Help Me Please

Yesterday was a really good day and the weather was perfect. Not hot at all and there was even some sort of wind so it was everything that I like. The first place I went to was to get my hair cut and it was more then what I thought it was going to be but I still got it because I am tired of waking up with headaches and I am tired of looking like I come from Africa. So now I look like a regular old lady with more gray hair then the last time I got a hair cut.
Then I went to see about my glasses and I was told that my insurance wouldn’t be covering the frames so I just went to do my grocery shopping. I got pretty well everything on my list plus some so it turned out to be more then what I thought I was going to spend but that didn’t matter because now we have what is needed.
And tonight hubby and I are going to be having pork chops, rice and some sort of vegetable and tomorrow when my son comes I am thinking either steak and baked potatoes or this…
I think I will do the second one because it’s something I have never made before and it looks really easy and with my son here there should be no left overs.
Onto something else…
Today is another perfect weather day for me. I have a feeling that the temperatures are now going to be seasonal which is good and I can tolerate that.
I have a question for you all…
Do you think it’s worth trying to fix a fan or do you think it’s better to just get a new one?
My fan stopped working the other day and I was thinking about asking my landlady if she can or will fix it. And the second fan I have there is no cord for it to be plugged in so that one needs to be recycled.
Onto something else…
I didn’t do my dishes from the day before so I have a sink full to do but it doesn’t look too bad and should only take me a few minutes to do. And other then that there is not much happening. I might do a load or two of laundry but that is about it.
And there is no football but I am sure there is the preseason of the NFL and the AFL. Not sure who is playing but it should be interesting to watch.
Onto something else…
