Just a quick update because I just got home from my quasi-honeymoon with Liz and I'm kind of tired, but I wanted to write about everything.
First, the ceremony was lovely. I'll post some pics eventually. Most people in attendance already knew that I am trans and my husband is gay but the news was received well by everyone who was hearing about it for the first time. I think the open marriage/polyamory announcement was a little out-there for some people, but no one gave us a hard time about. We made no secret of the role that Liz plays in my life, and I think she appreciated being acknowledged in a ceremony that was really about me and my husband.
He played "the wife" very well and looked amazing in his dress. I think being able to dress like that in front of an audience was the most important thing for him, and he pulled it off well.
As planned, we did not have sex after the ceremony. Instead, since Liz and I were leaving for the airport early the next morning, I spent the night with her. And, of course, she and I did have sex. My husband surprised both of us by giving her a nicely wrapped box as we were leaving to go off to her place. He said we should open it later. When we did, it was a stunningly beautiful set of Agent Provocateur wedding night lingerie. Liz wore it for me only briefly before I stripped it off of her so we could make love.
And that was the theme of the last five days. We took a nice trip to a beautiful place but we spent almost the whole time in our room having sex. I knew sex would be a big part of the trip but didn't imagine it would be virtually the only thing we would do. I feel so physically and emotionally close to Liz right now, it's amazing what days of intense lovemaking can do.
I love my husband too, and it was nice to come home to him. I'm really happy knowing that I love two people and they love me.
