Inflation Is Driving Me To The Poor House in Help Me Please

emphasized textI had always thought it was the people in the industries that decided what the prices of their goods and services would be but I am wrong. In the USA it’s because of the Federal reserve and has nothing to do with the government. And other reasons. This is what I found.
And this is what I found for Canada....
But the good news is that this should get back to what we would like a bit better in the next few years.
The thing about this high inflation is that whatever money I do have I don’t get any more so my buying power just stops and I have to re-think of how I spend my money. And I have to decide what I must have and what I want. Most of my wants just stays at the store I am at. And I also wait for the sales so I can get more of what I want. And another thing I am still learning is Unit pricing and that makes it easier because then I get more for my money.
I have heard of people who just don’t care how much they spend on what they need and just get it for no good reason and then they wonder what happened to all of their money. My son is like this. I have tried to tell him what he should be buying so he can survive and so has my mom and even hubby has tried but my son thinks he knows best and he really doesn’t. He buys a lot of microwave foods and I have told him that they cost a lot and are not very nutritious and are very expensive for what they are. But he still hasn’t learned this life lesson. So when I do see him I try to give him my left overs so he has something that will not only taste good but is nutritious and will last more then one meal.
I wonder if someone who is on welfare or disability if there is a right and wrong way to spend money or is it the same as the people who work and earn more? How can a poor person save any money and go on those fancy trips or to one of those $100.00 a plate restaurants? I have been trying to save some money not much and it will take me a lot of years to get anything practical or even anything that is on my wish list but at least I am trying. I have always wondered how much money is a good amount to be saving from each time you get money? is it 10% or more?
The thing about me the only thing that I need to make sure is paid in full is my rent and my entertainment and the food is important but I can do with food bank food also but as long as I eat something I am happy.
Onto something else…
Well today is the start of hubby’s weekend as soon as he walks through the door and then it will be hi how are you and how was your lunch and then he will get more relaxed and then dinner will be at about 6:30 pm and then after that it’s nothing but free time with no nothing to do. Well I will still be doing all of my domestic stuff like the dishes and making sure the place stays standing and I can still see the walls.
Tonight’s dinner is going to be cheese burgers, French fries and corn on the cob. (smothered in Butter and some salt.)
And tomorrow I am not sure because the temperatures are suppose to get higher then 35 Celsius so maybe we will order in.
I just hope it doesn’t feel as hot as they say it will be because me and the heat don’t get along and I think it has something to do with some of my medications which I will never be able to stop.
Onto something else…
Well I should really stop here and get some stuff done and think about dinner.

so if there is more money being printed that doesn't mean there is more money to spend? And then the supply and demand is not an issue?

You're right. Inflation of the money supply causes price inflation.

They are going down here also, but it's still not the right price.
