Before I was working at the beginning of May, I weighed around 192. After working for three weeks, I ended up at 198. One horrible day I saw the scale push OVER 200! Since I've been back off work, and eating at home, I went back to 192.

This morning I saw the scale register 187!! Was it a fluke? Was it because the scale was in a different spot on the floor? Or was it, as I used to say to my mother when she was so proud of weight loss - it's MUSCLE MASS, don't be so proud.

I have to exercise more... for SURE. Especially since I return to work on Monday... for the next two weeks or so.

Work schedules seriously make me gain weight too! Its really easy to eat bad things on the run. I work in an outlet center, and I have a panera bread, philly cheesesteak place, asian place, pizza place and a delicious salad place that does not skimp on dressing literally nextdoor to my business. Talk about gaining weight at work! Ugh.

There's a farmers' market two days a week - I discovered these great eggplant or mushroom or spinach filled pastries. Then there's the cafeteria type place with amazing Italian food or the Chinese restaurant. And of course, Au Bon Pain. I prefer the Italian restaurant, but will stock up on the farmers' market items those two days!

That 200 mark is a scary thing. I've come close - and even felt the sick seduction of it - I mean talk about really giving up. Makes George and his sweatpants on Seinfeld seem trivial.

the highest I ever was - above 220! I am glad for little changes.
