Jesus Christ, this was a trip to Hell and back. Let's try that again.
Quick disclaimer: Don't tell me that you dislike any of the music I have posted here, because I don't care.
I always used to say that I don't have a favorite genre, but fuck that, I might as well admit it (if only to myself) - I'm a rivethead, pure and simple. Industrial music is what drives me. It's what I always go back to. I may have mood-swings and phases, but I always come crawling back to industrial like a penitent sinner begging for forgiveness. Er, or something equally poetic.
Your image is tied into your musical tastes, and don't let anyone tell you otherwise, and don't kid yourself. People look at me and either think "punk", or "metalhead", and both are equally valid, but both are equally wrong. I tend to look like this guy on the left, most days:

I don't recall where I was going with this because I'm sober and I hate that, so fuck you, here's what's on my iPod right now. I'll place a single video from each of the artists on my iPod here, rather than place a video of every song, because that would be fucking crazy.
Alien Vampires - Harsh Drugs & BDSM
Nice bit of EDM in the morning. Lovely.
Austrian Death Machine - It's Simple If It Jiggles It's Fat
Mental Arnie-based metal band. The lead singer's about to go to prison for trying to kill his wife.
Cabaret Voltaire - Sensoria
Part of the UK's "industrial revolution". Cabaret Voltaire were one of the bands responsible for making industrial music a real thing. This tune fucking rules and I won't hear otherwise.
Chimaira - SP Lit
Just a bitchin' metal band. If you're here for the industrial, move on.
Combichrist - This Shit Will Fuck You Up
Awesome band that have kind of watered themselves down in recent years. Associated with the incredible Suicide Commando. Harsh EBM at it's finest.
Cradle of Filth - Thank Your Lucky Scars
There's so much good Cradle of Filth stuff that it was hard for me to choose one for the entry, but fuck it - this is a personal favorite, so enjoy.
The Cure- Fascination Street
Another one I had a hard time deciding which to include in the entry. This whole album (Disintegration) is a masterpiece. In the end, though, I think this track wins out.
Deftones - Elite
White Pony was the album that got me into Deftones, being a gigantic and unashamed Korn fan - there was something of a rivalry between the fans in the late 90's/ early 2000's. This isn't my favorite track on the album, but my favorite track on the album isn't something I can listen to at any time. I'd go into that in more detail, but I don't want to.
Depeche Mode - People Are People
Do I really have to explain this one?
Dethklok - Briefcase Full Of Guts
The best fictional-cartoon-death-metal-band-that-actually-released-actual-albums ever. Also, that song title.
Devildriver - Clouds Over California
More heavy metal. There's a lot of it. Again, if metal ain't your thing, skip it. This entry is supposed to be all about industrial, but it's also about what music I like. Did I mention that? Good.
Dr. Steel - Build The Robots
Riiight. Dr. Steel. Not sure how you'd describe him. He's an evil scientist bent on taking over the world with his army of toy soldiers and weird hip-hop -enfused industrial steampunk insanity. Recommended for those with a Dr Evil complex and other assorted nutters.
Dropkick Murphys - Never Alone
Irish-American fight music for pissheads. Lovely jubbly.
Faith No More - Falling To Pieces
Again, if I have to explain this one to you, you need to see a doctor.
Gary Numan - Metal
Sadly I can only pick one song per band for this entry. It was a difficult decision, but I have to go with Metal.
Kittie - My Plague
Kittie are an all-female metal band from Canada. They can be a bit hit-or-miss, but this tune (and album) fuckin' rule.
KMFDM - Beast
You have no idea how hard it was for me to pick a single KMFDM track. They've released fucking loads of albums over the last 25 years, and I have them all. Quite a difficult decision. "Beast" is on the album Nihil, regarded by many as the best KMFDM album of them all. Make your own mind up.
Korn - Here To Stay
IF I HAVE TO EXPLAIN WHY KORN ARE GOOD, YOU'RE BEYOND MY HELP AND I WANT NOTHING TO DO WITH YOU.
Laika - Black Cat Bone
Kitty cat, kitty-kitty cat....
Lamb of God - Now You've Got Something To Die For
One of the best NWOAHM bands out there - and they were even good before Randy got arrested. Imagine that.
Lard - Can God Fill Teeth?
Lard, an industrial supergroup fronted by maniacal Dead Kennedies singer Jello Biafra. Let this song set the tone for everything they record.
Limp Bizkit - Counterfeit
I don't want to fucking hear it.* I love this group, and Borland is a sick guitarist.
Machine Head - Old
Another sick metal band. I have great memories of seeing these guys live in '04.
Massive Attack - Angel
This trip-hop group come from my hometown, and this is probably my favorite track on an album full of great tracks.
Metallica - So What?
Okay, I know this isn't strictly a Metallica song. And I know that Metallica are corporate fuckers who really screwed the fans over that one time. And I know that Lars Ulrich is a giant cock. But fuck you, I've been a 'Tallica fan since the early nineties, so suck my balls and listen to the Goddamn tune (which is awesome).
Ministry - Over The Shoulder 12"
Another band with an enormous back-catalogue. They went from synthpop to industrial to industrial metal to, I guess, just straight metal. All sounds great. In fact, I'm going to have to post two different tracks. The first is Over The Shoulder, from the height of their industrial madness. Fans of Skinny Puppy will love this tune.
Ministry - Rehab
Yep. Ministry did a cover of Amy Winehouse's Rehab. It's fucking batshit.
Nightwish - Bye Bye Beautiful
Nightwish rule. End of story.
Nine Inch Nails - Heresy
Another industrial band with an insanely huge back catalogue. So many great songs to choose form, but this one is a personal favorite.
NOFX - I Believe In Goddess
Yet another band with a lot of releases. This is from their latest album.
Opeth - Master's Apprentices
Prog-metal band from Sweden. Every album sounds unique and is essential for any metal-head's collection.
Papa Roach - Revenge
More nu-metal, this time from Papa Roach - before they went all soft on us, that is...
The Prodigy - Breathe
This band fucking rule, and I won't hear otherwise.
Psyborg Corp - My Mechatronics Insane-as-balls EDM crew from Colombia. Good stuff. Not the best EDM you're likely to hear, but still pretty hardcore.
Rage Against The Machine - Renegades of Funk
Like I have to say anything about this group.
Rammstein - Reise Reise
Dieses Album war während der letzten zehn Jahre für mich sehr wichtig. Ich vermisse sie jeden Tag noch.
Revolting Cocks - In The Neck
Aaah, RevCo. Industrial supergroup formed by Front 242 member Richard 23 and Ministry front-nutter Al Jourgensen. One of my favorite groups in existence.
Rob Zombie - Living Dead Girl
The industrial-metal king. More need not be said.
Skinny Puppy - Worlock
The best industrial band the world has ever seen. So much to choose from out of their enormous library of music, but this is a personal favorite of mine. It was a toss-up between this and VX Gas Attack, but I play that fuckin' song far too much. Warning: The video might freak you the fuck out.
Slipknot - Pulse Of The Maggots
Great fuckin' band, great fuckin' tune.
Soulfly - Jumpdafuckup
I feel a bit like I'm cheating, since Corey Taylor from Slipknot sings on this track, but fuck - listen to that downtunage, dude.
Static X - Fix
Wayne Static has great hair. His weird brand of industrial nu-metal was instrumental in getting me high back in the late 90's, so here ya go :D
Strapping Young Lad - Love?
Oh, like I was going to post any other SYL tune.
Suicidal Tendencies - You Got, I Want
Great American thrash/punk crossover band still going strong today.
System Of A Down - Sugar
THE KOMBUCHA MUSHROOM PEOPLE! SITTING AROUND ALL DAY!
Wormz - Braindance
From their album Emergency Alert System. Only got into them after a PB user recommended them, and yeah, not bad EDM at all.
Right. That's my iPod, or, rather, for those deficient in reading, this is a single track from a single album from each artist on my iPod. Hope you enjoyed it and maybe heard something new you like. If you didn't enjoy it, or, more probably, didn't even bother to listen to them and instead dismissed them out of hand because it's not what you usually listen to, then GFY.
Toodles!
