My stupid neighbor got in trouble with animal control and to be spiteful she told them I have 15 cats. They know she is lying but they still have to investigate. I actually have 6 cats which is 2 over the legal limit. I know better to admit it and the only way they could prove it is to get a court order and come in the house. I have a friend who used to work for animal control and he says that things have to get pretty extreme for them to do that. I hope it doesn't go any further because I would have to give up Boy and Girl. They are the 2 with litter box issues and they are both so spooky I think it would be more humane to have them put to sleep then to have them go to the shelter. A better person would probably give up the 2 with the best chance of being adopted, Gracie and Rocky, but I’m not going to.
Good Things I did for me
Ran 8 miles
Worked out with Angie. We did squat presses with 70, 90, and 105 pounds. Then high rows on the cable cross machine, 60 ball tosses, single leg rows and single arm rows.
Stayed in calorie range
Why I’m awesome
I can keep my balance on a BOSU ball. I remember when I first got on one 2 years ago. I spent the first 15 minutes falling off of it!

If any of the cats are allowed outside, then how on earth could anyone know how many there are at any one time? I have 2 cats which require my full attention (outside of work). Can't imagine having to tend to 6 cats! My cats aren't allowed outside so require maintenance - litter box cleaning, feeding, cleaning cat hair around the house, socializing time etc... Also have to pay a cat sitter to come in when we go away because the cats can't tolerate travelling in the car. Just call me a crazy cat lady.

if your cats don't go outside how does anyone know how many cats you have? i had two cats and they were a lot of work for me. can't imagine having 6 of them. take care,

I have eight indoor cats and at least three outside cats but I'm in the country. They're all family; I couldn't give up any of them. But I'm also not adding to the mix, either, like I've seen on hoarding shows. I can't imagine that animal control really has reason enough to poke around. If they really did, take a couple to someone to cat sit for a day or two.
