Some Stores... in Help Me Please

Just don’t listen to the customer. When a customers requests something like bags or a box then why don’t they comply? All I want is my delivery to come in some sort of package like paper bags, re-useable bags or a box. I am even willing to pay for these things but they just won’t offer these things and I don’t know why.
But there are some stores that do and I prefer those stores much better.
So after today i will be going to the store in person and doing my shopping that way and then at least I can get the size of things I want. Like the strawberries I got yesterday are huge and there is not many of them in the container. And the Zucchini I got came really small and I would have picked ones that are a bit bigger. I wish some people would read the instructions that customers write and follow them. And if there is an issue with something for crying out loud call the customer to see what they want or don’t want. But then some stores are just in this world for the money and nothing more.
But then my mom told me that no one does anything that they can’t get the money for and I find that really sad. What ever happened to making the customer happy and if they want something and they won’t give it to you then get them to pay for it and I am sure they will because at least they will be happier. But then what do I know, I am just a customer that has been grocery shopping since I was 22 years old and with my own family.

Onto something else…

Dinner turned out really good. I ended up making a beef stew and there are lots of left overs so I put them into a container and into the big freezer and eventually my son will get it to have and eat. And tonight I am thinking pork chops or fish with some sort of rice and zucchini or broccoli. I have learned with cauliflower and broccoli that if you steam them they come out much better especially if you have a gadget that can steam because it does it perfectly and carrots also.

Onto something else…

Have you ever told someone that they are doing something wrong? Like opening a package? or putting something away? I have a particular way of doing things and everything has it’s place and if it’s not there then i always wonder where it got put. Like my pantry is not organized but I do know where to look for things and they are always there. And my cupboards are a bit better and everything is in it’s place. The one cupboard that I can never get perfect is the one where all the glasses and coffee cups are because there are certain ones I like to use all the time and they get put near the back and that means I have to move things without breaking them or take them out till I find what I want. But in the end I do find what I want and that is the whole point.

Onto something else....

I found out yesterday that my son doesn’t have plates or cutlery or pans or pots so I told him to ask someone if they know where to get some good used ones. Actually come to think of it I should tell him to ask the food bank because they sometimes get these things. And I have one or two things he can have but first I need to organize my cupboard and see what I don’t want. I know I have at least a 1/2 set I don’t want so he can have that. So it looks like this holiday season my son will be getting kitchen stuff and maybe some groceries. And he will be staying till at least the day after boxing day.
And I have told hubby and my son I want to know what they want for their gifts so they are thinking about that. I have already got hubby two of his favorite sports teams t-shirts because the ones he has are in really bad shape and full of holes but there is one more I am looking for but can’t find it at the price I am willing to pay. So that one will have to wait till another time. maybe his birthday.

Onto something else....

Well, well, well, I am amazed…I wasn’t sure if this would be saved or not because the power went out here as I was typing this. And it just came back on after 8 hours.
After about an hour after hubby left for work I did some tiding up and then I( went into bed with a flash light and did some reading and then fell asleep and just woke up. And my groceries came from a different store so I am happy. Now I got basically everything I wanted for the next while.
And because there was no power I didn’t take anything out of the freezer so maybe we will just have sandwiches and soup of something or even breakfast for dinner? But there are a few options.

So the rest of today I get to do what I wanted to do and start cleaning up here now that the lights are back on. it’s incredible how bored we get when there is no power…No internet no lights no cleaning out closets but you can do the dishes and you can read and sleep and even go out and wonder the world but it seems that when the lights go out we really miss them and wish they were on. But the time does go by pretty fast and some things do get done. What do you do when you have no electricity? And no a generator doesn’t count because then you do have lights.

Onto something else....
Well, I should really start to do some stuff and figure out something for dinner wish me luck....
