Monday 04/11/22 in Lady Loves the Ocean

Good Morning Monday!!

I hope it’s a good week. I know there are some shitty days coming with our weather. Rain and wind on Thursday. Gusting up to 50 mph the weatherman said. I will be staying in on that day. Lol. Currently, it is overcast and 46 degrees. By the time I finish this post, it should be perfect for me to walk down to the mailbox. And take a long way home. Storms are expected tomorrow. But the temps remain in the 60s for highs until Thursday when that windy front passes through and it drops down to the 40s for highs. I will make the most of it until Thursday. Getting outside and walking and enjoying it.

I watched “American Idol” last night. There is so much good talent this year it is amazing. I have several favorites. I thought Hunter Girl was doing very well but last night she didn’t pick a very good song to showcase her voice. I hope that doesn’t hurt her. I wonder how much help they getting with song choices. Last night some of them really didn’t make good choices. It is on again tonight. With the other half of the 24 contestants.

Yesterday was an amazing day. So nice and warm and sunny. Then around 5:30 p.m. that all changed. It became overcast really quickly. I went for a late walk but it looked like there was a threat of rain. No rain but the wind picked up. I walked for 45 minutes with my music in my ears. There were a lot of people out yesterday enjoying the day.

I finished two books this weekend. So I will need to return those to the library. I will probably do that today. They are due tomorrow. I read “The Safe House” by Stuart Woods, and “City of the Dead” by Jonathan Kellerman. I started” Shadow’s Reel” by C.J. Box last night. My vision is doing much better this month. It didn’t take as long for my eye to clear up after the last shot. Thank God.

I put my boneless pork ribs in the crockpot yesterday around noon. They were done by 5:00 p.m. They were so good. I added a baked potato and a salad to my dinner. So Yummy. I have leftover meat. I will probably eat that today either for lunch or dinner.

This is short I know but I am going to stop here. I want to get outside and walk. It is going to be a great day.
