From Facebook: Foreign Talent in The irresistible urge to rant, riff and ramble

They build your houses. They do your housework. They clean your tables and drive your buses and cook your meals, and they teach your children, and they do all this because you deem yourself to be above such things.

And then you spend all your time complaining about how the foreigners are taking your jobs, and how they should be kept in their place, neatly out of sight and mind of those you deem to be the right kind of people.

And you say that this is what people who are truly your people should think, and you say that this is how they should feel: an inchoate rage against people who are just here to make a better life for themselves, and have been used by us to make our own lives better.

And in so doing, you define yourself by who you stand against.

So I ask you, in the words of a wise man:

What kind of creature defines itself by hatred?
