Thursday 03/31/22 in Lady Loves the Ocean

Thursday Evening.

It has not been a productive day. I still just not feeling that great. I am still having some pain in my back and just feel very fatigued. I didn’t accomplish anything. Well, I finished a book I was reading that is about it.

We still have the same weather. Cloudy, gloomy, cool, and damp. I woke up to a dusting of snow. But that didn’t last long. It is currently 35 degrees but feels colder. There is a chance of mixed precipitation in the early morning hours. The high tomorrow is supposed to reach 50 around 6 p.m. The weekend is predicted to be in the 40s and 50s with more rain in the forecast. I have had enough rain for a while. Bring on the sunshine.

As I mentioned yesterday I haven’t been out walking since the pain started in my kidneys. So I am really feeling like a slug. I need sunshine and warmer temps. Hopefully, by Saturday I will feel up to it and it will be warmer.

Tomorrow I have my eye appointment for my shots. I am seeing a different dr. The dr. that has been doing the shots has left the practice for another job. So I will be seeing the dr. I originally had when I first started going to this office. I am praying I don’t need any more shots. Or at least not for a while. At my last appointment, he only had to do my left eye. So I pray there is improvement enough that I don’t need any. And I can get a prescription for new glasses. Which I need very badly. Fingers crossed.

Tonight is my night for tv. Starting with “Station 19”, then “Grey’s Anatomy” and then “Big Sky”. I will probably read between commercials. And then go to bed after and read until I fall asleep. If my eyes will allow it.

I have had watery eyes and an excessively runny nose again. All clear. I don’t know if it’s allergies or has something to do with the shots or a sinus thing. I will mention that tomorrow. I may have to make an appointment with the regular dr.

I really don’t have much to post here today. My little world is pretty boring lately. I am going to go pick out a book to read. I finished reading “High Stakes” by Danielle Steel. I need to take it back to the library and pick up the one that is waiting. I have several books checked out from the library.

I hope I get back to feeling more like myself soon. I just feel blah. I know this will pass. I am outta here.
