Yesterday after work I had to go to have my right knee scanned n an MRI machine. While in the waiting area I had a bright idea (yes it does happen ) and requested that as well as the films I had them also make a CD of the knee. It is my intention to send it to my Granddaughter Kelly's fiancée Dave. He also just graduated from Med School and is starting his residency in Orthopedic Surgery. In an display of caution if this is not to presumptive for her thoughts on this and how it will be received.
When finished but while I was waiting for the films my phone rand with a call from Doris. Earlier in the day we had talked and had told her where I was going after work. As soon as I told her that I was finished and just awaiting the films she hung up and almost immediately entered the room. She had been shopping in the Mall across the street. from my location and had once worked there. I know Doris and as soon as I heard her little girl voice I knew she wanted something. . She asked me if I wanted to go for Ice cream and I readily agreed. We were near a family owned locally famous drive in so we parked her car and took mine. She and I had a nice comfortable discussion and after about an hour went back to retrieve her car. Before leaving my car she leaned over to me and kissed me with such fervor that she rocked my boat. We are going out Friday night to dinner and then maybe to watch a movie at my place. Doris is Doris and I do like that woman.
I am reserving Saturday to finish the plantings in my yard and not planning much else. Updates will follow.
