Fallen in General

Whew. The day started with a bang. Or rather a slip and a slide. Coastal Maine is iced over. With water on top.

Taking my trash and recycling to the curb I slipped and fell. Then slipped and slid back into the house. The I went over to Lowes for some CaCl. Slipped and slid and almost fell three times. Made it into the store. Bought 20lbs of CaCl, and walking to the car I slid and fell to my knees. Got up and immediately fell flat on my back. Long enough that my sweats and jacket and hat and gloves soaked up a bunch of freezing cold water.
When I got home, I called my dad. Do. Not. Go. Out. There.
I can already feel the ache growing in my shoulders. This is going to be some miserable shit by tomorrow morning.

Evel summoned up this song on my way back from Lowes. I had a lot of thoughts and memories, but I have to get into the shower and mitigate falling down three times in one day.
