Having felt removed from this place for a couple of weeks I forced myself to write a few days ago and now the bloody floodgates have opened!

I have conjunctivitis. I blame fly-lady. I don't do fly-lady but I know a few people who do and follow what people say they are doing, particularly mujer. Yesterday was a day for dusting up high and, trust me, dusting up high was necessary! Sadly, I evicted a plethora of spiders from the corners of my rooms by demolishing their homes, the dust came down from light fittings and curtain rails. I think some must have got into my eye as my eyelid has swollen up and feels really tight. It's also itching like crap!!

And, who knows me well enough to know what I'm using to treat it..?

Go on...

What's a teensy bit sad about our society is the likely reaction from most people. And that's a bit silly considering that they put milk, squeezed from a cow's udder, on their cereal.

I have my friend's breastmilk in my eye. It's a known cure and worked for me last time (a different friend) and, as far as I'm concerned, a much better option than whatever chemicals fill chemist bought eye drops.

I walked out of the kitchen just now, unable to see because of the film of milky white and Rich said "now you know what a frosty feels like." Got to love his mad humour!

And, m'off!

Hope it clears soon. Dusting always causes me to have horrendous allergy issues. And we have to dust all the time as the flat seems to collect it :/ x

I squirted breast milk in my daughters eye when she had an infection -- worked like a charm! So many people (including my Mother) seemed appalled at the idea shrugs it IS a natural antibiotic!
