Poor myles, had to take him to the vet on Saturday. He is neutered and can’t pee. He had this problem a number of years ago and was fine for quite a while. He is still at the vet, he might have kidney stones as well.

Cats seem prone to stones. I think KittyCat is growing some, too.

I hate that . Seems like every male cat I have ever had has had that problem once . It’s hard to get it cleared up too . Hoping your guy heals fast . I read somewhere it has to do with them being neutered but no one can live with a male cat inside that is not neutered. 🙏

Have had three cats over time that developed this. Myles did about 10 years ago so he did pretty good for quite awhile.

Since it’s such a chronic problem you would think vets would figure out how to prevent it or at least a reliable cure . It’s shameful that it’s very expensive to treat it . I keep Amoxicillin on hand if my cats seem to have symptoms. I would rather err on the side of prevention. I make sure they have lots of fresh water available too and scrub their dishes out with soap most days . I should feed more wet food but my cats don’t like it much.

Hope Myles will be ok and home soon!
