Last night I really screwed up dinner, and J has been pulling the silent, 'you are invisible' treatment. It's enough to make me want to slap him around a room a few times. But he would probably enjoy it too much. Yep, I'm pretty annoyed at this point.
He also hit the heights of rudeness by bringing dinner home for -himself- and eating it in front of me. That's just plain bad behaviour. All I can say is that if he does something like this tomorrow, things may not turn out the way he wants.
I just wish I could understand his behaviour. Sulking and acting like a child is enough to make me want out of the relationship, to be honest. Why in the hell can't he just say what's eating him, and then drop it? When we do fight, he drags everything that has ever happened between us -- what I call 'kitchen sinking' -- and his comments are full of 'you, you, you.' Now, I don't take well to that, and now just refuse to play that game with him. He wants to be childish, fine. Let him. Eventually it might just drive me out the door.
Not exactly an easy thing to do. Especially as I just have SSD to live on. It will require very careful planning on my part. I'd like to stay in this area, as it's not a bad place to live, except for the COL and the taxes. We'll see how this next week goes. Closer to the City would be nice, but I don't think I could afford it.
Still wanting for the money from bubblews to roll into the account. It says it is pending. Grumble.
I did finish reading A Game of Thrones today, and picked up on a lot of the more subtle details. I'll pick up the next book in the series in the next few weeks. I've learned not to try and read a series, especially one as mammoth as this one, all at once. Now working my way through a bio of Kaiser Wilhelm II, and oh, what a nasty piece of work he was! His treatment of his parents is outright abominable. I'm going to set aside Shaara's Gods and Generals for later, not quite ready yet to dive back into the Civil War.
Did anyone else watch the new episode of Cosmos tonight?
Here's hoping for a better tomorrow.
