Just Trying To Help? in Help Me Please

Or am I just being out right rude?
I have had people tell me that they want to learn things or make a recipe or for other information so I have went and try to find what they wanted. But there are people who tell me I am just being rude. But how? They are the ones who said it not me and I am just trying to be a friend to get them where they want to be in life.
I really appreciate it when someone goes to the trouble to think about me and offer information that would interest me. I know they want me to be more educated and to learn and I appreciate that. And also it beings us closer as friends. And also it gives us more to talk about.
It’s like with my dad he is a excellent bridge player and has many tournaments and has come in first a lot of times. So whenever I talk to him I ask him if he played and how he did and that starts off the conversation. And my mom we often talk about what new thing she has stopped eating and why. And she also sends me information about my journey to lose weight and what needs to be done or not done. And my brother has an art gallery and travels a lot to other countries so we talk about that. And my son is full of trivia especially topics about movies. So I have a lot of topics I do talk about and when I can do this I feel like I am part of the conversation and having some input and also being educated.

When I post information and links here do you already know or is it new information for you? And do you appreciate that I went and learned something?

I should really figure out what is for dinner tonight. I have so much stuff in my freezers that it needs to be organized and put into sections so I can find what I need and want.
Well I found some left over spaghetti sauce so that will be dinner for tonight. Nice and easy and not much of a mess. And of course the pasta that goes with it.
