With Laundry Upon Mine Feet in (W)hole

Im cozied up in my bed, feet warming under a pile of laundry, drinking a raspberry iced tea, and feeling pretty mellow. My feet and legs are killing me, but it's been a fairly chill day and I am feeling pretty good. I had kind of a fun day at school/work, I got to hang out with first graders all morning while my 6th graders were doing SBA tests. 1st graders are so much easier to convince to do things. I love little kids. It's a lot of redirecting and behavior issues, but overall it's just so much less dramatic than 6th grade... it's so much easier to deal with, the issues are so much smaller. Oh, you can't sit still? Okay, I can deal with that. Oh, you cut yourself with razor blades because your older brother beat the shit out of you? I'm not sure I can handle that one. Yanno? I far prefer the littler kids. FAR! FAR! prefer.

So there's that. It was a relaxing kind of day at school, and the kids didn't have any after-school obligations.

I got my feedback on my full time student teaching binder, and it was good overall. I have a few little details I need to address, but overall it's just small things that need to be changed and then I'm good to go. I need to teach a health lesson that I have already prepared, and I need to design and teach a P.E. lesson at some point. I'm not sure how to fit that in, though. :-\

I'm switching to a 4th grade class in another school for 2 weeks starting Monday. The class has a lot of behavior issues and they are kind of difficult to manage, so I'm really glad that I'm just acting as a T/A for those two weeks, primarily. I'll have to teach at least two lessons, but the teacher in that room will be there the whole time, so it should be a nice easy experience, far less stress. I hope. <3 lol

5 weeks, 2 days till graduation. I cannot WAIT to be done with this! <3
