I have not been writing here much. I have lost a lot of my interest since OD closed and I do not feel the same close relationship that I did on that wonderful; site. This weekend I went to one of the most moving spiritually meetings that I ever attended in a pre=revolutionary church and yesterday morning I heard one of the most moving stories detailing a mans personal experiences in living past the hardships of live to emerge out into the light as a positive force for so many. Born to an family lead by an alcoholic Father whose had his mother abandon him and his siblings before they were ten, left to be brought up by a man who was an alcoholic and a rageaholic . He passed through jail, abuse and unemployable to become a builder of homes and assumed care of the same father after Cancer struck. Over the remaining 7 years he and his father became fast friends and then he was tasked by the father on his death bed to find his mother and let her know his father forgave her and asked the same.. How this man detailed his journey and how the silenced crow reacted to it was so strongly moving. I also went to a Music Festival outdoors in a Municipal Park and dined at an outdoor restaurant by the Sandy Hook NJ bay. Life is good.
