26.  What was a difficult decision you once had to make? What did you consider when deciding?
-Manon

Phew, only a few, short days to go.

Right then. Difficult decision.

Well, I can be pretty impulsive but not in a bad way, you know? It’s not like I make sudden, rash life choices. It’s more that I believe in the gut feelings I get. They’ve never done me wrong!

So, what I’m saying is that, if a decision is the right one it isn’t difficult to make. Ya know?

So, big life decisions.

  • leaving the first bloke I married. It was hard to do but the decision to do it was easily made.

  • moving across the Atlantic. It was always a dream so I made the dream happen.

  • moving to London when I came back. Well, why not? It seemed like a fun idea (it was fun too)

  • leaving London to move in with R. Wild horses couldn’t have held me back!!

  • having kids (see above)

  • starting businesses, closing businesses, taking on the various jobs I’ve done since having kids. They were all the right thing to do when I did them. Eg the job I’m doing now. We needed money desperately but my caring responsibility (autistic child who can’t access education currently) means I can’t do a full time job. Feeling a little despondent, I scrolled through local council jobs for the first time ever and there was an advert for this job. I have to leave my child (who is nearly 16 and ok alone for short periods of time) for a little bit in the morning and a little bit in the afternoon. It’s a job I actually did 30 years ago before this Big Life Decision list starts so I have experience. I applied and I got it. We are now far more comfortable, money-wise, I get out and do something fun and I’m still around for eldest child.

I’ve never been one to second guess the negative side of choices because I know that nothing (other than having kids) is forever, you can always change your mind!!

I’m not going to change my mind re chemical warfare on Phil, I’m far too invested!

It’s good to be decisive .

You know although I haven't moved out of my country, I bet we've moved the same amount of kms, lol,

great decisions, obviously!

Kill Phil, would make a good movie!

I’m sure we have, your country being so big!! A few years ago we were all at my brother’s and playing quiz games. The question “which country has the longest coastline,” came up and I immediately answered “Canada”. Everyone disagreed with me but I was right! 🤷‍♀️ Xx

That is aweome!

Ha ha, the sequel!! However, I don’t think I fancy having an assassin stalking my foot!

thesunnyabyss ermentrude ⋅ November 26, 2021

It would be a ninja assassin and you'd never even know Phil had died, LOL!!!

See happy ending for all!
